The space
Part of the popular Benbrae complex, complete with access to the resort’s spa pool and swimming pool, Cardrona Retreat ticks all the boxes – as a stunning summer location with plenty of outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, go-carting & horseriding in the area, or a cosy, spectacular winter ski vacation.

Super close to the famous historic Cardrona Hotel, guests can enjoy a hearty meal, or dine outdoors in the hotel’s pretty garden setting.

The property is comfortable and spacious, with two large king bedrooms, one with ensuite, bunkroom for the kids, two bathrooms (including bath), and spacious kitchen / dining / living area. French doors open onto a deck with table for relaxing outdoors and BBQ grill.

A few steps from the deck is the resort’s communal swimming pool and spa facilities, a welcome treat after a long day either cycling the trails, or hitting the slopes.

The property comes with full kitchen facilities for guests to prepare their own meals, as well as washing machine and dryer facilities in the laundry.

Cardrona Retreat is ideally situated in the beautiful Cardrona Valley – halfway between the tourist resorts of Queenstown and Wanaka, with plenty of activities on offer for a day off the slopes.
